It plays out this way: we are big enough to flourish, but small enough to be personal; involved in the world & community, but above politics; take the Word seriously, but ourselves not so much.

Events
Yarn Angels
Knitting and Crocheting Group. Meeting on Mondays 12:30 – 3 p.m. in the Iona Room. Come and join us! Contact Barb Munn. The yarn angels are at work making hats for Justa Center for homeless adults, St. Vincent de Paul youth and Navajo School.
Christian Education
We meet Tuesdays at 10am in the Council Room. Continued discussing “Jesus and His Jewish Influences” by Professor Jodi Magness, an engaging, gifted archaeological professor on this subject. Join fellow lifelong learners as we delve into a little-considered facet of Our Lord’s physical time here on earth. Please consider attending one or more of these sessions. Faith Piecemakers
Quilting Group
Meeting on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. in the Knox Room. We have a wonderful large work space, lots of material and patterns, and a number of quilt kits all cut out and ready to be checked out and put together, either in the Knox Room on one of our sewing machines or in your own home. We are currently making quilts and lap quilts for various charities in the Sun City area. If you would like to support our projects or if you would just like to learn to quilt, please contact the church office for more details: 623-974-3611.
Low Vision Support Group
The Low Vision Support Group meets on the second Monday of each month, 1-2 p.m. in the Council Room. All interested in vision difficulties are welcome to meet and discuss issues.
